Welcome to the 2025 Parents and Adults Program!
Dear TANG Parents and Adults (TPA),
Welcome to the 2025 TPA program! We are excited to welcome first timers and returning folks to our program.
This year we have an exciting line up of speakers and workshops with themes centered on Taiwan, parenting, interprogramming, arts/culture/food, wellness and fitness, and fun and friendship. Highlights this year include talks on “Making sense of US-China economic relations: from the eyes of Taiwanese Americans” and “US Taiwan relations and why they matter to you.” We will cover parenting topics and screen Sean Wang’s award winning film Didi, a coming of age semi-autobiographical piece followed by a guided discussion, and engage in interprogramming with TANG Young Adults (YA) planting seeds for mentorship and bonding. We will learn from our community members about practical self defense, injury and pain prevention, and real estate investing. And we will have time for fun and relaxation at game night, karaoke/dance, Night Market, and our Top Golf outing and games in a private suite.
The TPA program continues to develop and evolve, building on past successes, to reflect the needs of our community. Please complete the post conference survey so we can capture your suggestions and ideas for future programming to create the best experience for you, OUR community. And if you would like to lead a session or a workshop next year, please let us know!
TANG’s theme this year is Community, 人情味 / Lîn-tsîng-bÄ«. Thank you for being part of this rapidly growing, vibrant community and spending your time with us. Learn, be inspired, and connect with other TANG Parents & Adults.
Can you feel the TANG-ergy?
