Tiny Tots
(4-6 year olds)

The Tiny Tots program serves children of ages 4-6 who are potty trained.  We believe that it’s never too young to let these little tots feel connected to our community and being proud of their Taiwanese American heritage at such a young age!

The Tiny Tots program serves children of ages 4-6 who are potty trained. We believe that it’s never too young to let these little tots feel connected to our community and be proud of their Taiwanese American heritage at such a young age!

On a typical day for Tiny Tots, parents drop off their tots with us after breakfast. We play ice breakers and introduction games to first allow the children to warm up to each other. As always, our programming incorporates themes that connect them to their family roots! This includes learning about Taiwanese culture, counting numbers in Taiwanese or Mandarin, and even singing popular songs related to the country. We then escort the tots to the cafeteria to have lunch and recharge.

Our low camper-to-counselor ratio (2:1) means we are able to provide adequate supervision and ensure everyone eats their balanced meals.

After lunchtime, we can participate in TANG-wide activities with all the other programs. To maintain your child’s safety, we make sure activities are both engaging and suited for their age range. The older programs love being big sibs and interacting with our tiniest campers! We close the afternoon with story time, group games, or a fun movie. All the tots will be picked up by their parents at the end of each day, so they can go to dinner together and rest up.

Attention Parents:
We require all Tiny Tots parents/guardians to be participants in TANG Parents or TACEC.

Our schedule is created to prioritize your children’s safety and happiness. A recap will be sent out nightly, but they will be excited to share their day with you first! If you have concerns at any time, you are welcome to check in with staff via text—we'll do the same. Our lines of communication are open!
