Health & Safety Plan
The TANG health and safety plan has been developed in alignment with CDC (“How to Protect Yourself and Others”) and West Chester University guidelines (“COVID-19 FAQs - WCU of PA”).
TANG reserves the right to update and change the plan as needed to reflect updated guidelines and information.
Before attending this event, consider the following health and safety guidelines:

To protect the health and safety of our local communities, all attendees are strongly recommended to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to arriving at this event.

Please stay home if:
-
You do not feel well.
-
You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last five days.

You have been tested for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event and have not yet received the results or
-
You have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to the event.

Prorated refunds will be issued on a case by case basis.
Upon Arrival &
During the Conference
Symptomatic Illness
For campers and staff who develop symptoms of any illness, including those listed below for COVID-19, the Parent/guardian/emergency contact of the camper will be contacted to assume care of the camper.
The possible symptoms of COVID-19 are listed below (“Symptoms of COVID-19”) :

Fever or chills

Cough
-
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Fatigue
-
Muscle or body aches
-
Headache
-
New loss of taste or smell
-
Sore throat
-
Congestion or runny nose
-
Nausea or vomiting
-
Diarrhea
Masking
Masks are optional consistent with WCU policies and should be worn based on an individual risk assessment. TANG fully supports each person’s choices around whether to wear a mask.
Hand Hygiene
Hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds will be emphasized especially before and after eating. Hand sanitizer will be available in the event that hand washing is not available. Hand sanitizer use by campers will be under supervision of staff.
Security
All TANG staff have been required to submit background checks and child abuse history clearance as required by PA regulations.
All campers, participants, and staff will have TANG name tags. Individuals will need to show proof of TANG participation (conference ID) to access campus buildings where conference activities are taking place.
